ok first off i have to say this is without a doubt a beautiful big bowie knife . i love the stag handle and the blade is 3/16 inch thick. now lets get down to what this knife is realy about thin push tang . this is a wall hanger only however the sheath is top quality and well worth 60 bucks.so if your looking for a beautiful wall showpiece this will do fine but if your looking to chop any thing with this it will bend and brake .. sorry but its true. still glad i got it looks great on the wall
