UTG 6X40 Reticle Intensified Tactical CQB Scope Review

Was looking for a low priced scope to mount on the carry handle of my AR15 and saw this scope other places for more money. Mounted easily and sighted in well. THEN decided to use threadloc on the nuts and took it off and remounted it. Was pleased to see it was within 2 inches of the original zero (at 100 yds). Other reviews metioned that the cross hairs were not square and mine are not also. That does not matter to me as long as the cross point works, and it does. Rubber lens caps are nice to have although the front one is thick enough to block most of the through sight area for the iron sights. The covers slide off easily when you want them off. Lighted cross hairs are nice for times of poor contrast. Clarity is fine for my needs. I am looking at shots of less the 250 yds which matches to the energy levels for the AR15 for my uses.

Nathan X-Ceed Hydration Pack (Black/Olive) Review

It is well constructed and finished the fabrics don't bleed color when properly washed and the seams are well sewed.
The "X" construction makes it very stable on bumpy rides and the straps can hold a helmet when not in use or a towel/sweater when riding.
I've been using the hydration pack for about a year and since the start I noticed some issues with the bladder tip.
It was awfully hard to turn, mind you is a one hand operation while riding the bike. Eventually, about 40 days from first use dripped water and then became useless.
I contacted Customer service and did not receive an answer just a confirmation email.
Later bought the tip for $10 and this one was noticeably better never dripped and was easy to use with one hand. all of this leaded to -1 star from the top 5.
The front pouch is good if you carry a regular Iphone. To close it using a Galaxy SII, III; Nexus or LG Nexus is not possible the phone will jump out when going trough rough terrain. from here -1 star.
I would not buy it again, for this price I can score 2 cheap camelbacks ans switch when required.

Chinook Chemun Portage Pack (Green/Black) Review

Used this pack once a few weeks ago for a canoe-backpack camping. It performed well. It does not seem to have the durability of a Duluth Pack, but I also paid much less for it. Features were fairly user friendly. Straps offered good ergonomic adjustment of load for decent comfort carrying pack. I have only to minor complaints:

1)The chest or sternum strap has minimal adjustments and has an elastic section, so it really doesn't offer much support.

2)There is a set of 3 loops along the sides of the pack to cinch external gear. 2 of the three straps (bottom 2) have adjustable 'buckles' or D-rings. The top (or third) loop is a fixed width, so it can't be loosened or tightened to adjust to different diamater loads. The two bed rolls we packed in worked great in these loops....except I couldn't get the top loop to open wide enough. I might try to home rigging on this to make it work.

Bought this in preperation for a cross country trip with the family I took almost 2 years ago and the thing has held up very nicely! I am a retired Trooper. I still have my orginal streamlight (still in use) from 1988. It smashed out windshields, and was used as a self defense tool and is still in perfect working order. I have replaced a few batteries and bulbs, that is to be expected.
I bought the Stinger Ultra after retirement and use it everyday. Just as good as the old light from my cruiser, but a bit smaller and lighter. Just as tough and I expect to have to "will" these lights to my son when I die.
People always say, I wish they made things like they used to. This company does just that.
The best money I ever spent. I have given them as gifts and get eternal thanks for them from the recipients.
