Azonic Switchback Pedal White, One Size Review

These pedals are a huge upgrade over my stock plastic pedals. They provide a better platform for stability and grip. The replaceable pegs are a definite bonus. These are sealed bearing and incredibly tough spindles and pedals. They are not for weight weenies. If your worried about overall weight go with the titanium version.

I ride these pedals with standard tennis shoes. I am sure that with a nice pair of mtb shoes these pedals would only get better.

The one down fall to these pedals are their tapered pegs. They do not offer at much grip as the other platform pedals I have used. The traditional style threaded Peg that is not tapered provide better grip. These pedals do include a set of non-tapered pegs. I have not found an effect way to use these pegs as they will thread all the way through the pedal with no way to tighten them down.

The pedals do include a wrench to insert and replace the tapered pegs.

Overall I would recommend these pedals for extra grip and a great upgrade over stock pedals.
