Let's be honest, you're not going to wear this if you're meeting the Queen of England or the President. However, for what it is, it's a fine watch. The indiglo brightly illuminates the dial. The white face and large numbers make it easy to read. The strap is lightweight and isn't bulky like other watches that'll contribute to uncomfortable feeling during the summer months. That's basically the reason I bought this. I wanted a watch that is lightweight, and casual. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so I thought this looked nice. Again, I have no intentions of wearing this to a black-tie event, but during the summer, while I'm roaming around NYC and going in and out of the subway, I don't have to worry about a leather/gold/silver strap or face getting scratched. It also won't contribute to the uncomfortable feelings of the dog days of summer.

One caveat: the ticking is very loud. Obviously, you won't hear it in a crowded room. However, if it's a quiet room, or there's only 2-3 people in a room, God forbid you're trying to sleep, you will hear that ticking.
