My son purchased this as a rain jacket. It fits okay, but the hood is too big. On move in day at school it was raining really hard all day. I noticed that after a while my son was not using the hood. I asked why and he stated that he couldn't see when he pulled it up over his head.

Observations: The jacket is light weight, packs flat, is waterproof, the plastic is noisy and is it a bit pricey for what it is. Its a heavy weight windbreaker. If the weather is chilly, you will need to layer.
