I got a set of these brakes to replace a set of Avid BB7 mechanical discs on a 29r hardtail with matching SLX rotors. The feel of these brakes is far superior to the Avids and I like them better than the Sram/Avid X0 brakes I have on another bike. The modulation and control on these is great, as is the single finger lever design. If you're looking for an incredible value in brakes, look no further than these. I would highly recommend them over the Avid Elixir 1.
