I was in the market for a new sleeping bag. I found reviews on sleeping bags quite sparse so I wanted to make sure to write one here.I purchased this bag for a weekend car camping trip. I had originally bought a Mountainsmith Poncha 35 but found it to confining for my size (6'0" 235). So I took it back and bought this one. They come in regular and long size, I bought the long. It's much more roomy then the mountainsmith, both at the shoulders and the height. This long version could easily accommodate someone a couple inches taller, or a few pounds heavier then myself. The zippers are well made and the "relaxed footbox" design makes for an OK amount of room for your feet...considering I'm a guy that likes a lot of room to move around.
The bag is certainly warm enough. I've taken it to as low as about 40 degrees and been just fine sleeping in shorts and a T-Shirt.
There are two negatives I would give this bag however:
1) the storage sack is a mesh bag that's twice as big as it needs to be. I know the storage sack should be roomy but this is pretty ridiculous. There's almost enough room for a 2nd sleeping bag in there. At some point if I come across a regular cotton bag on sale I'll probably pick it up. (The compression bag that comes with it works fine.)
2) In general I'm finding this "relaxed mummy" design to be less then ideal for sleeping on your side, it's not a knock on the bag itself, it seems that these bags are more designed for sleeping on your back, I'm sure I'll get used to it as I go camping more often.
