I ordered this bike because I liked it's girlie, but muted color scheme. I didn't want one that was too young looking or too old looking. And I'm not a fan of bikes that are hugely branded (Barbie, Hot Wheels, etc.) I loved the look of this one.The first one that arrived was in a box that was completely open with parts literally falling out of the box onto my porch. I still liked the bike enough to reorder, hoping that the first packaging nightmare was a single occurance. The second one that arrived was in a closed box, but still had been destroyed in four places where the bike frame had beaten it's way out of the box. I took it out, and examined all the parts. Luckily, the bike parts were unmarked (amazingly), and so I kept the second one.
If it weren't so darn cute, I'd have bailed after the first experience. I've kept it, and it seems to be a sturdy bike. It's the worst packaging I've ever seen though.
