I bought these gloves about two years ago. Luckily I didn't pay the full price of $70. By opening up a charge card with Amazon, I only had to pay $40. I don't even know if they're worth that...maybe -- I'll let you decide. I ordered the 10 oz white ones. The leather looked very nice, but of course with any white glove the hitting area won't remain pristine for long. But that's minor and perhaps obvious. The gloves are definitely not for large hands, but they fit me fine (my hands are about the size of a lightweight or featherweight). They do provide good knuckle protection. Of course if you stand in front of the bag smashing it over and over again like a Mike Tyson-wanna-be, then I suppose you'll get what you deserve. Anyway, I liked the gloves except that the lining came out within a couple of weeks and the padding started to deteriorate in less than a year. It wasn't like I was using them every day, or even every other day. For a $70 dollar glove the lining should have lasted longer and the padding should not have broken down as quickly. The wrist support is not too good, especially if you have small wrists, but if you pull the velcro strap around as tight as you can and put an elastic band over it the support is a bit better. The tip of the thumbs are folded in and sewn. This causes a small bit of leather (most noticeable in the right thumb) to dig into the tip of your thumb, and can be quite painful after a while. But if you wrap high on the thumb, or just put a band aid there, there's no trouble. So, I liked the glove, the cushioning was fine and with a 10 oz glove you can throw the punches better than with a heavier glove and the combos flow more smoothly, making it more fun to hit the bag. All in all, I'd have to say except for the padding and lining problem, I would highly recommend them, but there not worth $70, and I still don't know if they were even worth $40. If only they were built tougher on the insides they would have lasted longer and I would have given them at least 4 stars.
